The June 27th. The date refers to the last PTA's meeting of my tenth grade year. In this meeting, all parents are going to school and take away their children's report card. And my dad will fly all the way from Kalimantan, across Java sea, to Jakarta, only to take my report card away. This making me freaking out even more.

(Note: The freaking nerves are not coming from my dad's arrival. It's because of my mom's ultimatum that says, if I got into social class (which I would really thank God for it), my dad will fly back to Kalimantan with a company (which is me), and I have to continue my study there, and take the tenth grade all over again.)


I never wish for it, mom.
Not even for a sec.

Now, let's just put the whole report card thingies there.

Hi all, how've you been? I just got back from Bandung (YAY) with LKS 2009, and it was fun plus exciting. And it is true that your most unforgettable moment of LKS is when you're in DPA and TPA.

My mom's first reaction to my redded hand after those pushup I had there (then I got my newly six-packed stomach here) is:

"*Laughed* Kamu masih belum ngerasain yang namanya naik gunung-turun gunung kayak jaman mama SMA dulu"

(Note: My mom was the chairwoman of SMA Labschool Rawamangun's PALABS (Pecinta Alam Labschool) for 1982-1985 period)

Errrr, yeah, mom, you're right. I haven't got much pushups if we compared each other here. But, once again, the pushups were fun. It reminded me to my elementary school days back then, when I learned my first pushup.

Thanks for asking, people :-) But please keep in mind that I was born on January 1995. Repeat, 1995. Not even allowed to sign up on those tests. And somehow I got reminded back to few months ago, of how I ran across the school hall with my friend, Dini, to the nearest photocopy booth to copy the AFS form and sign it up. And I just realized that I'm not allowed to when I got back from the booth. Darn.

And, CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOU WHO GOT THROUGH THE TEST! WOOHOO!
Please keep in your mind that you'll bring our rich culture with you if you made it through United States, or Japan, or any country you desire. Please make the best out of yourselves and our country. And send my 'hi' to those Bina Antarbudaya staffs there!

Saya belum nonton film Star Trek terbaru. Apakah dalam film tersebut 'Vulcan salute' yang menyimbolkan kalimat 'Live Long And Prosper' itu muncul?

Dari dulu saya pengen bisa membuat tanda seperti ini (akhirnya ngaku juga), tapi ga bisa-bisa. Untung ada Mbah Gugel. Google comes to the rescue!!!!! Mbah mengajarkan saya caranya membuat 'Vulcan salute' ini. Well, here are the steps:

1. Pilih salah satu telapak tanganmu. Rapatkan semua jari-jemari.

2. Gunakan empat jari selain ibu jari atau jari jempol untuk membuat tanda ini.

3. Bagi keempat jarimu: jari telunjuk dengan jari tengah, jari manis dengan jari kelingking.

4. Pisahkan kedua pasang jari-jemarimu perlahan-lahan hingga membentuk huruf 'V'. Lakukan terus dengan memperkuat konsentrasi hingga terbentuk 'huruf 'V' yang sempurna.

5. Jauhkan ibu jari dari keempat jari tangan yang sudah membentuk huruf 'V'. Bentuklah ibu jari dan jari telunjukmu hingga terbentuk huruf 'L'.

6. Tertib. Artinya, lakukan semua secara berurutan.

Sudah bisa?
